Kassia Finn
Kassia has been supporting fellow parents of queer kids & partners of queer individuals for well over a decade. She has led many ally trainings for medical centers, churches, all levels of schools, small & large businesses all around the state of Montana. One ongoing course she has developed educates Bodyworkers on how to make a safe & welcoming environment for lgbtq+ clients. She has spoken to the Montana chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics on transgender specific health care concerns from a parent’s perspective & has been on many panels for gender education aimed at professionals from various specialties, as well as to the public. Recently, Kassia shared her Trail Guide to Affirming Gender Diverse Youth presentation during the Virtual Rainbow Summit international conference. During the legislative session Kassia can be found testifying, meeting with legislators & other higher-level officials to educate law makers on the real impacts of anti-lgbtq+ bills on individuals & their families.

Kassia is a queer cis-woman whose hair color changes often (fun colors stick to gray hair quite well!). She enjoys being outside & is - unfortunately for her, but good for those around her - a mosquito magnet. She lives in beautiful Montana with her handsome partner (who is a mental health therapist that specializes in working with lgbtq+ individuals), three kind & wonderful children who are all amazing at being authentic in who they are, three cats, a snake, & a hamster.
